HEY KIDZ! I haven't blogged in quite some time, and with our beloved FH coming out in just one week, I thought it a good time to resume.

Like I just said, ONE WEEK REMAINING! Man, it feels like yesterday it was late May, I heard about FH for the first time, and thought to myself "Damn, I gotta wait ALL SUMMER!" I actually took on extra shifts at work to make the time go by faster.

Today I had the privilege to join in T10's "game with developers" event. I noticed their post about it on Facebook and made it a note to try and attend the event, see what it was all about. Shortly before the event was to start I hopped on the chat, a TwitchTv chat, and joined in the chatting.

Yes there were alot of people begging for unicorns and DLC codes but over a decent discussion was had with a few people. Then the first of the developers showed up in the chat and started chatting, in between the noobs crying for unicorns, and announced he was going to give away some car pack DLC...

So, yesterday I went online with my Xbox and got a message from The Godly Goose. "YOU HAVE BEEN GIFTED A CAR. DRIVE IT AROUND NURBURGRING IN LESS THAN 12 MINUTES!" I downloaded the car, which was an A-class Range Rover. B-Wald's Blog, Monday, Aug. 20th, 2012: SOAPBOX DERBY RESULTS

So, we ran the Soapbox derby... Sort of. Only 5 people or so ahowed up , but we went ahead anyway.

Problem #2 came up when the 5-second roll-of delay was ADDED to the finish times! Meaning, the only accurate time was for the person who started first. The person who started second would have 5 seconds added to their time, the person starting third would have 10 seconds, and so on. What a terrible piece of programming.
